He was, by all reports, a good Senator. He has been a good and stable politically active leader, and from at least my perspective, more about leadership and fixing problems than about partisan politics and nonsense. He has facial and name recognition. I am sure ORION or some of our other loyal oppositional-critics will weigh in and denigrate him as a TV personality and celebrity candidate. AND then they will be heard supporting AL FRanken in his political absurdity. Mr. Thompson was a Senator, and gee, if he was to run now, he would not be ignoring and abandoning his present civil service job (HILLARY?). Go Fred, Run Fred Run. Win Fred Win.
