I have to support the idea. He was, by all reports, a good Senator. He has been a good and stable politically active leader, and from at least my perspective, more about leadership and fixing problems than about partisan politics and nonsense. He has facial and name recognition.

I am sure ORION or some of our other loyal oppositional-critics will weigh in and denigrate him as a TV personality and celebrity candidate. AND then they will be heard supporting AL FRanken in his political absurdity. Mr. Thompson was a Senator, and gee, if he was to run now, he would not be ignoring and abandoning his present civil service job (HILLARY?).

Go Fred, Run Fred Run. Win Fred Win. Drive the debate to better levels, Mr. Thompson, PLEASE!
