Neil Gabler Compares Fox News to Air America (VIDEO)

Well, I haven’t watched Fox News Watch in many Saturdays, but today it just happened to be on. The subject of the Nevada Democrats backing out of the debate which was co-sponsored by Fox News came up. And, as usual, Gabler didn’t disappoint. He said the Democrats deciding not to participate in a debate co-sponsored by Fox News was just like a conservative deciding to not go on Air America.

What am I missing here? Fox is like Air America? Are you kidding us, Neil? Air America is an abject failure, while Fox News regularly gets all the ratings for cable news. Go ahead, Neil, turn in your keys to the building, and give your last paycheck back to NewsCorp. We won’t miss you, I promise.

For once I agree with Jane; this call makes the Dems look very weak. Can’t face Brit Hume? How in the hell will they deal with Ahmadinejad? Oh, yeah… I forgot; he’s their buddy.

Watch the segment here.

I don't know where you get that Air America is a failure. Just because they can't get the piggy right wing corporations to advertise doesn't mean their message is less.

“Failure”: in business, a venture or commercial enterprise is said to be a FAILURE when it is unable to sell it's product or service, or unable to establish and sustain revenues sufficient to cover expenses. Example, a talk radio network that cannot find enough sponsors willing to pay to advertise to their demographic (audience) to cover their overhead, then the network would be said to have FAILED.
