The FNS Panel on ‘Iraqification’ (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: FNS Panel, Iraq, Politics In General, Terrorism, VideoLeave a comment

Juan and Brit battle it out again. At subject is the Iraqification of the war, and this segment of the Panel starts out with Sen. Clinton telling Gen. Abizaid that hope is not a strategy, to which Gen. Abizaid countered that neither was despair; and that’s what he felt in Washington.

Well, nobody is happy with the way things are going in Iraq, but honestly folks…is cut-and-run the answer? Bill Kristol talks about how the Iraqification plan won’t work, but not for the reasons you think. He thinks it won’t work because the only way it would work is if we have the will to stay. And obviously, many Americans don’t.

Partial transcript:

Brit: This policy of trying to help protect where needed while building them up may be the only policy that makes any sense.

Juan: ..remember, we were going to go in, we’re going to promote Democracy…

Brit: Excuse me Juan, I’m making the point… no, exactly the opposite point if you’ll just listen to me…

Juan: What’s the point?

Brit: …which is, that a Democratic Iraq has to defend itself. It cannot be a successful, people-driven Democracy while it’s depending on an external force to protect it. And this is what, this is what the whole idea is, is to get Iraq into a position where it can police itself, defend itself, and have confidence in its own institutions.

Juan: I think our interests, as Americans, is to simply say “listen, you may not be able to defend yourself, but we’ll defend you to the extent that we don’t want terrorists using you as a training ground, and we’ll stop that.” That’s the American interest. What you want to do in terms of sectarian violence, Democracy, that’s up to you.

Brit: (heavy sigh)

It’s obvious there’s an extreme difference of opinions from each side of the aisle. And for the left side of the aisle? I know both of us want to win, but a precipitous pull-out is not a winning strategy.

Kerry Is The Botched Joke (VIDEO)

According to John Kerry on Fox News Sunday, Americans “didn’t do their homework” to understand his “botched joke.” And he talks about the idea that America needs to fight to get back her moral authority? Excuse me? Do you think that America, under Bill Clinton, had moral authority? Are you kidding me? This country WAS an absolutely real joke around the world, when we had a sitting President who was having affairs while serving the most powerful nation in the world. That was a real joke.

Kerry sparred with Chris Wallace, and gave him so many non-answers my head was spinning. And then, Chris Wallace showed a letter that was sent to Sen. Kerry and others, from a mother who lost her son in Iraq. Chris told Kerry that to this day, that mother had never heard one word back from him or the others to whom she wrote, and he offered him the chance to respond. What did he say? He apologized… but. Yes, there was a “but” attached to that. So, again – a non-answer.

What the hell is wrong with this man? He also talked about what a truly historic election that was recently had. For a moment, I thought he was talking about the Iraqi elections. But, no, he was talking about the Democrats winning back Congress. In my mind, it was historic truly; but only in the sense that such a bunch of losers was able to pull off the win like they did. Apparently, there are some areas in which we have not done our homework; at least, those Americans who voted these idiots back into power have not.

Oh, and you think his “botched joke” affected his decision about running again? According to what he said – “nope.” Let’s just all hope and pray that he runs again. We’ve learned so much since his last run, he’ll never make it. Talk about a Swiftboating! You haven’t seen one yet.

Watch Chris spar with Kerry here.

Signed,
A cog in the well-oiled Republican “attack machine”
(Well, that’s what Kerry called me!?!?)

Fox Reporter Butted By OSU Drunk (VIDEO)

Fox reporter, Steve Brown, was reporting from the Michigan vs. Ohio State game, when some drunk woman butts into him from his left, and it looks to me like Steve pushes back. Yea, Steve! Obviously, the woman is sobriety-challenged, and when they come back from the story, Julie Banderas told Steve he’d probably just gotten his first YouTube video.

This is priceless. I’m no YouTube fan after they banished me, but I’ll put it up there anyway just this once.

You can also download the clip here.

P.S. I just checked, and this will be FOR CERTAIN my last YouTube posting. They’ve banned ALL my profiles that I had to create.

Maher On the Constitution, Clinton, & Impeachment (VIDEO)

On the subject of what should be impeachable, Maher opines:

“How about starting unnecessary wars? Yes! Getting blown? No!”

Folks, this is what’s wrong with our country. Unbelievable. Moral relativism it isn’t. And don’t give me this “Clinton lied, nobody died” bullshi*. That’s patently false. I lay the blame of nearly all the current troop deaths squarely on the shoulders (or lap) of Slick Willie. How many times did he refuse to take Bin Laden? What about Somalia and Mogadishu? The Khobar Towers? The U.S.S. Cole? The Marine barracks?

Maher apparently has no shame, and that’s why he has to appear on pay-TV. It’s like watching Keith Olbermann to report his lunatic rantings for the rest of the sane world to see. I’m taking one for the team, and lately it’s becoming more and more painful. Maher suggests that if the founding fathers were around today, they’d be horrified that we haven’t changed the Constitution to suit modern needs. Huh? Modern needs, as I see them the Maher way are vastly immoral, atheistic, and unethical. But don’t tell that to Maher or his ilk. He is the all-seeing, all-knowing arbiter of the way things should be. Thank GOD he’s in the minority.

Watch Maher’s idiotic rant here.

Richard Dreyfuss Lecture on Civics (VIDEO)

Tonight on Real Time with Bill Maher, the panel was naturally mostly made up of left-wing whack-jobs. The only semi-bright spot was Dana Priest of the Washington Post, but even she drifted from reality here and there.

Okay, Mr. Dreyfuss…. Civics is going to be taught again? Call me old fashioned, but when I was in school, Civics was a required class. I’m shocked, as are you, that it’s not anymore. Perhaps that’s what’s wrong with America’s youth. The unintended consequence of your state’s efforts to re-instate Civics as a class is that young Americans just might actually find out why they get the government they get. Would that be such a bad thing? I think if you don’t know jack schitt about Civics, you shouldn’t vote. However, I don’t want to be one of those disenfranchisers. Again, call me old fashioned; I think you should understand something about the American Political System before you’re allowed to vote.

But hey, that’s just me.

Too idiotic to transcribe, folks. Sorry… You’ll just have to watch the intrepid panel here.
