Worse Than Torture? (VIDEO)

Well, I don’t know if this Imam, Omar Shahin, has been tortured before, but his recent ejection from a flight along with 5 other Imams said that that was the “worst thing that has ever happened” to him. Huh? Brit’s panel tonight included the always-brilliant Charles Krauthammer, and they were talking about what is and what isn’t racism when it comes to having the privilege of flying on airlines in the days since 9/11.

Oh, and if I had seen them acting the way they were acting (and yes, I do mean loud Muslim prayers and talk of Allah and other words), I’d have written this note, too!

I like what Brit said… if that would be the worst thing that had ever happened to him, he would have had a pretty good life.

Public Expression Of Religion Act – Support It!

Jay, I just received wonderful news that Sen. Sam Brownback is urging his colleagues to allow a vote on the Public Expression of Religion Act (PERA)–a measure that sailed through the House 244-173.

Passage of PERA would eliminate the awarding of attorney’s fees to groups challenging the constitutionality of displays on public property. Groups like the ACLU have made millions of dollars using the threat of monetary awards to intimidate officials into removing Ten Commandment monuments, Nativity scenes, crosses, or the words “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance.

++ Emergency Petition Presentation Announced!

Jay, Sen. Brownback and others believe there is still time to pass PERA before Congress adjourns. That is why I am announcing an emergency petition presentation to Sen. Brownback’s office during the first week of December!

I would like to present the Senator with a minimum of 150,000 petitions supporting PERA, but I need your help!

Over the next two weeks I am asking members of our Liberty Counsel team to do two very important things:

++ Action Item #1–Alert Your Friends

To reach our 150,000 goal, I am counting on your help in getting our message to your friends and family. Please forward this message to 25-30 friends urging them to be a part of this presentation by adding their name to our petition:

While Sen. Brownback is appealing to his colleagues to allow a vote on PERA, you can do the same thing by calling your Senators and urging them to support a vote on PERA.

Oh, man, I can’t believe how his family and other Hollyweirdos have tossed him under the bus. Stephen Baldwin is more interested in saving souls for Jesus Christ than he is for scoring points in Hollywood. I love this man, and I pray that his groups’ prayers can work on the rest of Hollywood.

Laura In for Bill O’Reilly Tonight on O.J.’s Deal (VIDEO)

Tonight, Laura Ingraham was back in the no-spin seat (HALLELUJAH!) in Bill’s place, and the Talking Points memo tonight was about Rupert Murdoch pulling the OJ book and TV special. This was even too rich for O’Reilly, who had to call in for this segment to “opine.”

I think Laura shines as Bill’s fill-in, and I have a feeling the input from Fox viewers has been such that Bill O doesn’t like her sitting in for him. She’s brilliant! I am still of the mind-set that Laura needs her own Fox News TV show. I’m going to write them again.
