Tonight, SSgt. Peter Milincovic and SSgt. David Bellavia (Retired) appeared on Special Report with Jim Angle. They talked about troop morale, overall military accomplishments, and the progress of what’s going on on the ground in Iraq, as well as what our boots on the ground are capable of.

Why do none of the other media outlets find patriots like these to interview? I thought the MSM had already won their propaganda war, so why not show a little bit of the truth now? Huh? Can we invoke a little ‘fair and balanced’ from ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, etc.? Why is it that ONLY Fox News will show positive troop sentiment and outline improvements and good news from this war? The more I see stuff like this, the more I’m convinced that the MSM and the leftists in this country truly want us to lose this war. Yes, it will be bad for the whole country, but those on the lunatic fringe left don’t care. Lately I’ve been thinking of them as none other than mental martyrs: willing to die for their cause – and their cause is the absolute defeat of George W. Bush and the Republican party. Can you say “Pelosihu Akhbar”? This madness has to stop.

Oh, and did I mention they also talked about the propaganda that’s spewing from the Al Qaeda front, and how wrong it is?

Nonetheless, erase Pelosi from your mind’s eye and revel in the heroics of these two patriots here with Jim Angle. Damn, I LOVE Bellavia’s optimism!

Maybe all hope is not lost on the future generation. As usual, Special Report ended with a select comedy segment tonight from one of the late night shows, and today’s was from the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Kids on the street in Los Angeles were asked how they would punish Saddam Hussein. You have to see this to believe it.

These are definite future US Military men and women. HOOah! Kids say the darnde…. uh, kids say the BEST damn things! Oh, and the British kid has quite the Blair flair!

“Reveille” – Honor Our Veterans (VIDEO)

We cannot forget, no matter what’s going on around us, to remember our veterans who have served this country so proudly. This is a wonderfully delightful film I found, put together by Brothers’ Ink Productions. It’s a bit long, and not one word is spoken – but none is needed. Also tossed in is a bit of humor, and a boat-load of pride.


Please, on this day and every other: thank a veteran and pray for those who are serving in harm’s way.

Thoughts on the Election Results from a Soldier in Iraq

I know you probably get a lot of messages asking you to read stuff on your show, but I BEG you to read this…… I would like you to tell America exactly what they did to their soldiers on Tuesday, and what WE think about our countrymen right now.
“I hope you are satisfied with what you have done…

Today in the mess hall, where there is usually jovial conversation, there was silence, long faces, and broken spirits… Everyone, to include all American soldiers, marines, sailors, airmen, Iraqi Nationals, Bulgarian Soldiers, etc, etc… was speechless, tired, demoralized and stunned…. all ate in erie silence…..

Last night, while we watched the press conference with the President, there was utter discust, and the common feeling amongst us all that we soldiers are now the loneliest people on Earth…. we fight an enemy over here, and we have a country full of enemies to go home to that are our countrymen. We watched President Bush say his own political funeral, our commander and chief.. as well as ours….. He tried so hard to spin it, but… well.. there is no way to soften such a morale blow.

While you sit and Monday morning quarterback what we work so hard to do for you out here, just know that the spirit of your team is wounded….. YOU liberals, you America have done a great job of demoralizing us… Thank you.

Do us a favor though, when we do come home, spare us the ceremony……. We all now know that it is a bunch of crap, and what you think of us…….

I have to say that right now, I would rather be a pussy ass Frenchman, even though they have no will to fight, at least they have the balls to make a decision and stick with it…… They stuck to thier guns about staying out of this war, even if it was the wrong decision……America on the other hand, goes off half cocked, and when the decision appears to be a hard one, or something that might cost a little bit, they turn tail and run…..

WHAT A NATION OF PUSSIES!!!!

This week I am NOT proud to say that I am an American……….I think it is obvious why… See, we just have told the world that we are not a nation of people who are tough, and will fight for what we believe in… We have told the world that we are a giant coward that will shy away from any difficult challenge…

So, while you eat your cheetos, and sit there and watch your lazy ass get fatter, dumber and happier Joe Citizen.. Just remember this, I, and all my commrades payed a dear price to come this far and have you decide that we should fail…

Realize this, because of your action this week America…. do not expect so many men to be so willing to stand up for your next little whim just to be cut down in the middle of it all…………

Realize this also.. you have just put a heavy price on the heads of us all…… Now that we are branded as cowards, we are an easy target, oh so inviting for the taking……. I swore to protect your children in your beds…. yet you fling the door wide open inspite of me to invite the scourge…. Well…. have it your way then.

Because of this, September 11th will soon be overshadowed by these same enemies.. my advice to you is get your lazy, self centered ass up and make peace with your God, and your family.. cause, time will come when they may not be there for you……………. Because you kicked me in the teeth, and so many others, I know I won’t any more.. ”

Note: I did not edit this in any way; either for grammar or spelling. These words speak for themselves, as does this soldier. I have had an overwhelming fear this is how our military men and women feel about the recent elections. I did my part, and I’m hoping all my friends did theirs. I just knew it would demoralize our wonderful men and women in uniform if the Dems took over. Damnit. This just really hurts my heart….and scares the ever-living shit out of me at the same time.

Iraqi president says Democrats told him they will not pull out quickly

BAGHDAD, Iraq – President Jalal Talabani said Thursday that he had been assured by Democrat congressional leaders during a recent visit to Washington that they had no plans for a quick withdrawal of U.S. forces.

Talabani, a Kurd whose post is ceremonial, said Democrats also backed the idea of placing U.S. troops in bases while putting Iraqis in charge of security in and around cities.

“They all told me that they want the success of Iraq’s democratically elected government and continued support for the Iraqi people to defeat terrorism,” Talabani said about his trip to the United States in late September as many were predicting the Democratic congressional triumph in Tuesday’s midterm elections.

“One of them (a Democrat leader) told me that any early withdrawal will be a catastrophe for the United States and the world,” Talabani, speaking from his northern hometown of Sulaimaniyah, told the Dubai-based Al-Jazeera satellite broadcaster.

Asked whether the resignation of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld meant a collapse of the Bush administration’s policy in Iraq, Talabani said, “I know George Bush as a clear and strong man who does not bow down to blackmail.”

The “Americans made big mistakes in Iraq,” he said, including the rejection of its leaders’ hopes to form an interim Iraqi government immediately after the March 2003 invasion rather than occupying the country for more than a year.

Speaking about foreign fighters who are known to play a major role in the insurgency that killed thousands of Iraqis as well as U.S. troops, Talabani said the country was subject to a “foreign invasion.”

He said thousands of non-Iraqi fighters had been killed. Al-Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Ayyub al-Masri, also known as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, recently acknowledged that more than 4,000 fighters from his group have been killed.

“We are being subjected to a foreign invasion, and we don’t have enough forces to fight this invasion,” Talabani said, suggesting that U.S. troops need to stay.

The Iraqi government and U.S. officials accuse Syria of allowing foreign fighters to cross into Iraq, a claim that Iraq’s western neighbor denies, claiming it is impossible to control the long desert border.

“All Arab countries have terrorists in our country, hundreds each, and also there are others from Muslim countries too,” Talabani said.

He added that “200 fighters used to enter the country every day and now it is about 30 a day.”

So what is the Demotard’s answer now? I am confused, but I know the next two years will not turn out like the Iraqis nor Democrats want it to. This just shakes me to my very core. Can you say “flip-flop”? The Demotards obviously have no plan, and I’m sure so many don’t believe that the Iraqi insurgency had enough battlefield acumen to understand the significance of an American military strength. Oh, well…. they can find out on their own. I’m ready to go; how about you?
