Rodeo Roundup Of Videos from Last Week

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Politics In General, Video10 Comments

I know, I know, some of you are going to be upset with me for not posting these more timely, but I explained in a previous post, video blogging is not as easy as you think, especially if you work 40+ hours a week. So, on those busy busy weeks, unless it’s a hugely significant or important story, I may have to resort to an end-of-week “Week in Review” of videos from some of the shows of the week. I intended to do this over this past weekend, but for once, I chose to take some “me” time. I think I’m entitled to that ONCE in a while, so anyway, without further adieux (is that spelled right?), here is my Video Rodeo Roundup from last week (and yes, they’re all from Fox – there’s only so much I can take of MSNBC or CNN).

Well, here goes the free-for-all roundup.

First, we have Brian Rohrbaugh, who is the father of a child killedin Columbine. He was on Bill O’Reilly to talk about his “Free Speech” segment he did on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. You see, Brian got a lot of flack because he mentioned *gasp* God! CBS intolerant? Naaaah… say it ain’t so. Katie apologized saying she realized some might find his speech about loss of moral values and the denouncing of God might be “repugnant” to some. Huh? Watch here.

Next up, we have an entire panel on H&C discussing the Soros link to the Foley IMs, as well as a discussion of the muddling that seems to be happening in the press between the emails and IMs. Some media outlets are not distinguishing between the two. Luckily for us, Ann Coulter was involved in this debate, as was Jane Fleming of Young Democrats of America, so you know it was lively! Oh, and let’s not forget Jerry Studds. Watch here and here (two-parter).

Crazy Shirley Phelps Roper on H&C tries to explain why the little Amish girls deseved to die. This is probably the one and only area in which Sean & Alan agree – as do most Americans. Shirley is a stupid bitch, and if anybody is going to hell, it’s her and her “church.” There’s one thing I do agree with that Shirley says here. She said that she, too, deserves to die. Well, then… Hmm. Watch Crazy Shirley here.

Next up with have the 2nd Amendment being discussed, primarily because Rosie O’Donnel used the Amish school massacre as an opportunity to bash our right to keep and bear arms. What a dumbass. I predict Rosie won’t last much longer on the View. There’s a difference between being liberal and being a lunatic. Lunatics don’t get ratings for a day-time woman’s show. Watch Rosie do her thing, and the H&C panel debate the issue here.

Speaking of lunatics, we move along to George Soros, to whom Neal Cavuto gave some spotlight this week. It’s hard to even describe my response to this. Is it just me, or did Neal kiss his ass? I report, you decide after watching here.

Emilie Loundsberry of the Philadelphia Inquirer was on Bill O’Reilly to discuss the Amish girls’ funerals, and the humility of that community of kind and gentle souls. So sad and heartbreaking. Watch Emilie talk about the services here.

And now for a bit of humor. Sean showed a segment of Dennis Miller when he was recently on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Sean’s embarassment? Jon Stewart asked Dennis this question: “Hannity or Colmes?” This Daily Show piece is hilarious, but Sean doesn’t think so. I love Dennis Miller and am glad he’s a regular fixture on H&C now. Watch Sean blush here.

Now it’s Shirley and Margie Phelps speaking out against Bill O’Reilly. You know, seeing those two sisters together I’m reminded of Patty and Selma, Homer’s wicked sisters-in-law on the Simpsons. LOL. Watch Gallagher explain to Bill why he negotiated the air time for Shirley-girl here.

Next up are Jane Hall and Bernie Goldberg on O’Reilly discussing and dissecting the Woodword book, “State of Denial.” I agree with Bernie and Bill (and you know I would) that the whole timing Woodward book’s publishing date is fishy. Don’t agree with me? Watch Bernie and Bill explain it here.

Bill, Bernie and Jane continue with our dear Rosie. Rosie seems to find some moral equivalency between the Pope and Fmr. Congressman, Mark Foley. Can this bitch get any more insane? Watch the debate over this here.

Here’s Dennis Miller on another Friday “Real Free Speech” segment on Hannity & Colmes. This time, Dennis talks about environmentalism. Very interesting take, and, as usual, extremely funny – right here.

Next we go to Fox News Watch on Saturday. I was anxious to see this one, considering Foley was going to be the topic of one segment. Neal Gabler, like Juan Williams, is not usually one that disappoints. And he didn’t on this segment either. Again, people seem to have a problem distinguishing between the emails and the IMS. Check it out here.

The Fox News Watch final segment was about the panels’ take on FNC’s 10-year anniversary. Interesting are the differences between the group. Gabler said that what happened with Fox with the increased graphics, opinion in primetime (that was new?) all lead to the people being “swiftboated” and nobody could do anything about it – he said that “Fox is in their heads now.” Jane Hall said Fox has tapped into an anti-elitist attitude, which has unfortuately lead to more partisanship. Don’t believe me? Watch that segment and hear it for yourself right here.

Whew! I’m worn out now. And this didn’t even include the stuff I got on the VHS tape! But anyway, that winds up last week’s roundup for this time. Look next weekend for a round up of this week’s clips again. Yippee-kiyae m***** f*****!

Monique Makes Another Entry Into “Stupidest Bitch Ever” Contest (VIDEO)

Folks, she’s sure the be the out-right winner when all is said and done, but this stupid bitch is downright disrespectful. She’s worse than white trash. She’s a mouth-breathing fungi, who is taking up too much of our precious oxygen. Mommie and daddy must be SO proud of this one, yeah?

What I wouldn’t do to “debate” her in a nice dark alley somewhere. Come to think of it, that might be a bad idea. Might actually knock some sense into her. Naaaah…. couldn’t happen.

Wanna let your head explode? Watch screech here.

Ted Turner’s View on Patriotism in Media (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Liberal Bed-Wetters, Video, YouTubeLeave a comment

h/t from Drudge.

Who the FFFFFF does Ted Turner think he is, saying it was inappropriate for media outlets to have American Flags flying in the background of newscasts? Huh? Ted, you’re a failure in Atlanta, and you’re obviously a failure in media – take your stupid ex-wife and get the hell out of the country. The other countries you like wouldn’t give you any choice BUT to have their flags in all the media airings. At least here, private media outlets have the RIGHT what they want to or decide not to display. Shame on you. Renounce your citizenship and go now. Buh-buy.

Update on Baby Noor – More Good News from Iraq

Hey, everyone. I got a surprise email today, and the emailer didn’t leave his email address (email was sent through Blogger), so I can’t thank him for sharing this update about Baby Noor. I posted the original story on January 2nd of this year, and hadn’t heard much about it since then. Here’s a portion of that story:

The first time Georgia soldiers entered her house, Soad was scared. Americans had detained her eldest son for questioning once. She didn’t like gun-toting men in camouflage uniforms poking around the family home in Abu Ghraib.

But out of that frightening moment came a gift of joy.

Gainesville-based soldiers of the Georgia Army National Guard’s 48th Brigade Combat Team promised to help give new life to Soad’s granddaughter Noor al-Zahra, born three months ago with a severe spinal cord defect that was untreatable in Iraq.”I am so thankful for everything,” Soad said. “We will call the baby Noor al-Zahra Georgia.””Georgia! Georgia!” she told her daughters when she called home from Baghdad’s Camp Liberty on Thursday. “We want to name her that because the people of Georgia are helping us,” Soad said. “It will be a nice name for her.”

Just hours before an anticipated departure from Iraq, Soad sat in an Army trailer sorting out a host of emotions racing through her heart. She had never left her family behind or flown on a plane before; the only times she had left Iraq was by car to neighboring Syria and Iran.

Now she was about to travel halfway around the world with a sick child in her arms. She had surrendered her granddaughter’s future to people she didn’t know in a foreign and faraway land.

“I am amazed bythe generosity of the Americans,” Soad said through an interpreter. “They came to my house so many times. They paid for everything.”Soad, 45, said she never dreamed that one day she would see the United States. She was excited, even though her trip was under such stressful circumstances. She knew that even with the best medical care, there were no guarantees for Noor.

…and more

“We’re all hoping for the best possible outcome for this baby. It’s our little project here. It’s our mark on this country.”

Soad sipped her tea and tried to placate her sobbing granddaughter. She held up a small stuffed animal, tickling Noor’s cheeks.”Georgia,” she said. “Look here, Georgia.”The baby stopped crying. She looked into her grandmother’s eyes — and smiled.

Three-month-old Noor smiles at her father from the lap of her grandmother at Camp Liberty in Baghdad, Iraq, hours before their anticipated departure, ultimately for Atlanta, for surgery.

Soad cuddles her granddaughter Noor in their trailer Thursday at Camp Liberty in Baghdad, Iraq. “I am so thankful for everything,” Soad said. Soldiers from Georgia have arranged surgery for Noor.

Now, here’s the email update I got today from someone who called himself “Soldier Travis:”

I work at BIAP. Baby Noor’s family passed through my Entry Control Point today to visit their detainee. She is doing very, very well. She is still very small, and was being carried, leading me to believe that she does suffer from paralysis. We read the story about her in Stars and Stripes two days ago. I can tell you that it appears that her family has gotten many donations from the US, as they were very well dressed (only the Sheikh in Abu Ghraib has money or dresses nicely… I’ve worked there, too.) Baby Noor’s family loves the hell out of us. Soad was there, as well as Haider and Iman. there were also two other young kids with them. ALL OF THEM elated to be with us.

Baby Noor is so beautiful, and it touched us all so much that we know that we just met these extraordinary people. From my broken Arabic, Haider’s broken English, I gather that she’ll be traveling back to ATL soon for a check up. Haider and Soad loved Atlanta. I think they may be thinking of moving there sometime. And as Baby Noor’s family began going into the FOB, Soad held her up to my face and I gave her a kiss on the cheek for being such a special and beautiful little girl.

Screw what the libs say… we’re changing Iraq one family at a time.

This truly warms my heart.
