The Peace-Loving Religion of Islam Reacts to the Pope (VIDEO)

All the Muslim world is ticked off at the Pope because of something he said recently that hurt their feelings and insulted their god. (Yes, I know I made “g” lowercase in that word, but it was for a reason.) According to the AFP, “In a speech in his native Germany on Tuesday, the Pope spoke of a link between Islam and jihad, or “holy war”, and quoted a 14th-century Byzantine emperor who said innovations introduced by the Prophet Mohammed were “evil and inhuman”.” Well, excuse the hell out of me. I do find it quite refreshing that the Pope has not apologized for saying what he said; rather he is apologizing for the fact that Muslims were so offended. Don’t worry, Pontiff, we have your back on this one.

Okay, so now these wonderful peace-lovers are burning and vandalizing Christian churches, Buddhist temples, and other places of worship not related to Allah, and one op-ed piece in the Arab news said that the Pope’s comments just might “lead to war.” Wow, how “peaceful” of them, right? Someone needs to remind them that in case they haven’t noticed, their is already a battle underway.

Since the peaceful Muslims have been torching our places of worship in Gaza and other areas around the world, I’m just waiting for the first “radical Christian” group to take their first Muslim hostage, put them on camera to broadcast to Islam, make them wear a nice jacket and slacks from J.C. Penney (you know, the kind they would wear to a Christian service), and force them to convert to Christianity. Oh, yeah, and if they don’t, then these “radical Christians” will probably saw their heads off with bowie knives then broadcast that video on the “700 Club,” right? Oh, wait.. um, yeah, uh… never mind. That’s probably not going to happen, but you know… moral equivalency and all, that’s the least I’d expect since Rosie O’Donnell reminded us that “radical Christianity is just as threatening as Radical Islam.” Yeah, right.
