Folks, I just really can’t say much because merely watching this clip tonight brought me to tears. British PM Tony Blair is one of the few remaining stalwarts who will readily join us in our battle between good versus evil. The United States will never have another ally like Mr. Blair. He’s got more grace, dignity, and resolve in his pinky finger than does the entire Democratic party in the United States combined. President Bush and Prime Minister Blair are/were an unflappable dynamic duo, and I’m so sad to see him go. As you can see evidenced by this farewell event, I’m not the only one who thinks so.

Tuesday September 26, 2006Tony Blair has thanked the British people and the Labour Party for giving him “the extraordinary privilege of leading you” and said he will always be there for them.
Speaking emotionally about his forthcoming departure, he said to Labour members: “I’m always with you, head and heart.”
The Prime Minister gave no clues as to when he will step down – but he paid tribute to Gordon Brown, calling him “a remarkable man”.
