This is something minorities don’t get in America I’m afraid. They don’t understand that the “Rules Change” when it’s nothing but white people around – specifically if it’s nothing but white liberals. You aren’t allowed to be either religious OR patriotic. If you do you’re met with scorn.

I have a very good black friend who’s a liberal and is also very religious. I told him that was the way it was one time and I actually think I shocked him a bit. I told him straight up that around white liberals he was “Allowed” to be religious because he was black (they wouldn’t look down on him or judge him), but that if I tried that around the same people they’d basically treat me like a bigot.

I think it helped put things in perspective for him. The only reason white liberals don’t judge black people for being religious is becuase they “expect less” of minorities. In a liberal’s twisted mind you’re “Stupid” if you’re religious or patriotic, but at the same time they don’t expect much from minorities because they’re a bunch of closet racists. That’s why as long as minorities tow the line politically they ignore the evidence that they are “Stupid” according to their own warped standards.
