Don’t get too excited people – Harper and his Conservatives have a bare minority government in Canada, and won’t even have that come next election. So enjoy this unprecedented and not soon to be repeated aberration in Canada’s historical foreign policy position.

This will all make up not much more than a footnote, in any history of Canada’s relations with the U.S.,prepared in say, 10 years ….

So as I said, enjoy it while it lasts – it won’t be for very long.

I would strongly urge everyone to go and read the speech by Mr. Gordon. He is the “Winston Churchill”of our time. It is exhillerating and fantastic. Hit the the link MsU provided. This is a great man and the PM there is excellent too!

Israel has my complete support. She needs to keep pounding Hezbollah strongholds and smack them into the ground. And if that means going after Syria too…then so be it. That’s up to Syria. And so far they are asking for it.
