Boortz Suffering the Fools on Tucker (VIDEO)

Well, this was a semi-event because as Neal has has his previous experiences with Randi Rhodes and other liberal mic-hogs, he refuses to engage in the major shoutfests, so he keeps quiet and lets them open mouth and insert foot. Neal has been doing talk radio for 36 years, so he’s not playing games.

This is a segment Tucker calls “3 on 3,” which is kind of misleading when you conside the participants. Neal is outnumbered, because Tucker is not a true Conservative in my opinion, and Neal is a Libertarian who hates left-wing nutjobs. Jerry Springer and Jennie Backus are both dem party operatives, so we know their side. So, this wasn’t 3 on 3… this was almost 4 on 1, but Neal held his own.

By the way, am I the only one who thinks Backus probably uses the same eyelift plastic surgeon that Nancy Pelosi does? Prop up the upper and lower lids with stents no thicker than toothpicks, but make sure the eyes are always wide open. Folks, that is just creepy. Almost as creepy as Laura Schwartz’ right-titled full-tooth grin with no lips.

And not to disappoint, even though Neal is being passive/aggressive, Springer just can’t help himself.

Can you believe this guy? And yes, I mean Springer. Why is he even in the spotlight anymore? I thought his 15 minutes of fame were over LOOOONG ago about the time Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” was on the disco top 10. It’s time for him to go away. I will, however, make this observation. This Backus character and some of he other leftwing whackos that appear on Tucker and other MSNBC shows are ones that you rarely RARELY ever see on other cable show to ‘opine.” Gee, after this, I wonder why. A vast bank of braintrusts they are not.

Watch the 3-some here.

When Did Tucker Carlson Get His Juris Doctorate? (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Just Plain Wrong, One Way Ticket to Hell, Pedophiles, Video1 Comment

…probably about the same time he received his latest Nielson ratings report from the bosses over at the Peacock.

Unbelievable. I was bored today, so I watched other stuff besides my normal fare. Is it any wonder people like Tucker Carlson have to have their MSNBC show run two times in a single day’s primetime (4PM EST, 6PM EST)? If you can believe this, today Tucker was questioning the Utah Attorney General, Mark Shurtleff, about why polygamist and pedophile, Warren Jeffs, was on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list! Shurtleff repeatedly reminds Tucker that Jeffs has felony charge warrants against him, but Tucker wants to know why the FBI is taking up alleged valuable space on the 10 Most Wanted list with a harmless, clean-cut polygamist like Jeffs.

According to Fox News:

Warren Steed Jeffs, 50, was arrested without incident just outside Las Vegas late Monday after more than a year on the run, the FBI said. No weapons were found, but the 2007 red Cadillac Escalade he was riding in was filled with items including three wigs, 15 cell phones and tens of thousands of dollars in cash and gift cards, authorities said.

Jeffs has led the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 2002 and is said to have at least 40 wives and nearly 60 children. Church dissidents say that underage marriages — some involving girls as young as 13 — escalated into the hundreds under his leadership, and that he broke apart families by casting out married men and reassigning their women and children to others.

Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard told KTAR-AM of Phoenix that Jeffs’ arrest marks “the beginning of the end of … the tyrannical rule of a small group of people over the practically 10,000 followers of the FLDS sect.” He predicted it will lead more people to come forward with allegations of sexual abuse.

And I hope the judge who presides over his bail hearing reads this part:

Items inside the vehicle included $54,000 (euro 42,160) in cash, gift cards totaling $10,000 (euro7,800), the cell phones and wigs, four laptop computers, a GPS device, a police scanner, and numerous unopened envelopes that were thought to contain more cash, Lewis said.

Jeffs was being held Tuesday in Clark County jail, awaiting a court hearing on a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The two people traveling with him, wife Naomi Jeffs and a brother, Isaac Steed Jeffs, both 32, were released and will not be charged, FBI agent Steven Martinez said.

Jeffs is wanted in Utah and Arizona on charges of arranging two marriages between underage girls and older men. The charges include two counts of rape as an accomplice in Utah, with each count punishable by up to life in prison.

He had been on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list since May, with a $100,000 (euro 78,000) reward offered for information leading to his capture.

People this is one of the things that is wrong with America. Men arranging marriages between 13-year-old girls and adult men? Having children just so you can give them to someone when they get “old enough?” This man is a very evil man, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why Tucker believes he has the criminal justice acumen to even judge whether or not he should be on the 10 Most Wanted List, much less try to infer the FBI had put Jeffs in the same moral equivalence status as Usama bin Laden. Like I said; unbelievable.

Tucker keeps saying he’s a Conservative, but it’s segments like this that make me a) wonder how he can claim that, and b) puzzle over where he gets his definition of morals, or the basics of what’s right or wrong. Shurtleff finally winds up saying out of exasperation “Of all the people that have been interested in this, you are the ONLY one who thinks that, you know, who questions law enforcement in doing what they are (sic).”

Like Shurtleff, I’d like to know where Tucker gets the temerity to pontificate judiciously on Jeffs’ history. I’d also like to know where Tucker got his Juris Doctorate. I have a money order ready and waiting to be mailed immediatledly for mine!

Serioualy though, folks, I’m not joking. I would transcribe this, but it’s just too insane to believe what Tucker says. A brief quote from his MSNBC site:

Aug. 30: To hear the government tell it, the capture of Warren Jeffs is a major victory. Jeffs was on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” list, along with Osama bin Laden, and Whitey Bulger, who’s charged with eighteen counts of murder. Tucker asks Utah’s attorney general if the country is safer.

Like the Utah Atty. General says, ask Jeffs’ victims if they think he was “dangerous” or not. It will be interesting to see what they find on those laptops they took into evidence from the traffic stop. Perv!

Shep’s Interview With Steve & Olaf, & Greta ‘After the Show’ (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Fox News, Hamas, True Heroes, Video1 Comment

Shepard Smith got to interview Steve Centanni & Olaf Wiig today on Studio B, and it was yet another insight to their 13-day ordeal in captivity. You can see the relief on Shep’s face, and hear it in his voice. You can especially see/hear it in Steve and Olaf today – perhaps a bit more rested.

I was having the same “thought” (read “fear”) that Steve was: the 5th anniversary of 9/11 coming up, and Steve thought about that… and so did I. But thank God they’re home. Watch Shep’s interview with them here.

Now on to Greta….

I was checking around the web today, and I found Greta Van Susteren’s blog. Her entry from today was truly heartfelt, and revealed that there was more to Steve and Olaf’s story than they could tell last night. Well, of course! They were gone 13 days, and a lot happened then. Here are some of Greta’s reflections from her interview last night:

I hope you watched last night’s show: an entire hour with Steve Centanni, his brother, Olaf Wiig, his wife and Jennifer Griffin. I enjoyed doing the interview — in fact, I was thrilled to do it. It is not often that I get to do a very important story, a story that is very personal to all of us and which has a good ending!

My job was essentially to say “go” and then they told the riveting story of the kidnapping and the efforts to free them. I had no heavy lifting in this show. I did find a huge challenge: How do you condense 13 days each with a 24 harrowing hours into a one-hour show with commercials? At the end of the show I felt disappointed that you did not hear more — there is so much more to this story.

But as I hoped, she did not forget about Jennifer Griffin:

By the way, how about Jennifer Griffin and her Jerusalem bureau chief? They are tough and determined! They are also very smart, but you know that if you have watched their work. That is obvious.

With all the trouble in the Middle East, I have gotten to know Jennifer Griffin. I can’t say enough good things about her and her work as a journalist. She is truly amazing. She is one of those people who when I walk past a television and hear her talking, no matter what I am doing, what time it is, whether it is a day off or not, I always stop. I always learn something from her.

I sat on the sidelines on this one — safely in my studio and not in Gaza — and watched and, of course, worried, but having seen the efforts and the product of my colleagues in this crisis has made me enormously proud to be a colleague.

Now THAT’S a heart-warming story. You can read all of Greta’s blog entry here.
