“Step” Honored on AMW’s “In the Line of Duty” Segment (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Tragedy, True Heroes, VideoLeave a comment

It’s a short video, because as I was watching America’s Most Wanted and the “Line of Duty” segment came up, I wasn’t prepared for it to be “Step,” so I didn’t get the videp clip of the segment from the beginning. America’s Most Wanted chose Det. Dennis Stepnowski to highlight as their LODD (line of duty death) for this week. Even though it’s short, it’s another memorial to my friend that I lost.

I still miss you, Step…

“It’s not how these officers died that made them heroes; it’s how they lived.”

“Obsession” the Documentary is Finally Being Noticed (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Islamofascists, Telling It Like it Is, Video2 Comments

Col. Bill Cowan and Gen. Tom McInerney were on H&C on Friday, and the subject of the segment was the newly-recognized movie “Obsesssion” by Honest Reporting. Apparently, although I missed it, Blair and Bush both mentioned this movie during Blair’s recent trip to Washington. I wrote about this past week, and this is a very scary movie, but it’s a must-see for everyone if we really want to get a good grip on the evil that we’re dealing with.

Sean rightly compares this indoctrination-type of cult as very similar to Nazi Germany. Col. Bill Cowan and Gen. Tom McInerney both agree wholeheartedly. Interesting to note that McInerney TWICE says he’s very pleased that both Blair and Bush spoke of this movie. Awareness is key.

As usual, Alan “Puffy” Colmes ponders whether or not we should engage in talks with Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations. When will the lunatic left understand that diplomacy doesn’t work with Jihadists. By very definition, diplomacy is derived from “diplomat,” which is this:

1) One, such as an ambassador, who has been appointed to represent a government in its relations with other governments; or
2) One who uses skill and tact in dealing with others.

Okay, given the above, can anybody name me one Islamofascist group who falls under either definition of a diplomat? Come one, people, name JUST ONE. Secondary argument, if you can’t name one, then why should Geneva Conventions even be muttered in the same BREATH with such cults?

It’s fantastic that people in positions of power are finally starting to take note of documentaries like this one, as well as others like Relentless, Saddam – Weapon of Mass Destruction, In the Face of Evil, Saddam’s Mass Graves, and more.

These are documentaries that we can afford to ignore no longer – we need to understand and see the face of evil for what it is. It is the pure destruction of all non-Muslims that the Islamofascists seek, and will never stop until they’ve achieved it. The time to arm yourselves with the knowledge of our enemy is NOW! Our very civilization depends on it.

Marines Will Always Go Back In (VIDEO)

In the “Back of the Book” segment on Friday, Laura had Sgt. Michael Sarro on, who is a Purple Heart recipient, former Marine, and now in the Pennsylvania National Guard. He’s back here stateside, injured in battle, but is very proud of his service and shows a deep admiration and respect for his fellow soldiers.

First a clip was played from Thursday’s Factor, and the segment was about whether or not troop morale was low, if they’re frustrated, and all that other nonsense the MSM would like you to believe. Col. Randall Larsen (Ret.) said that the troops understand it’s an important job, and that they understand cutting and running would be a mistake.

Sgt. Sarro served with the Marines in the 1/7, completing his four years in late 2002. He wanted to get back in, and so he joined Pennsylvania National Guard.

Laura wants to know his story, and tell him she knows he’s been injured, has his leg in a stabilization cage, and is in rehab.

Sgt. Sarro: The incident itself occurred on a routine patrol in the city of Beiji, which is just outside the city of Tikrit. We were going down the main road, and about 500 meters into that patrol, two anti-tank mines were remote detonated under my Humvee. This took the front of the vehicle off. We crashed off the road, and that point is when the firefight begun between insurgents from the rooftops of buildings onto our position. It was approximately 25 minutes into this firefight where I was wounded. I was shot with an AK-47 through the leg, and this is pretty much how I ended up to be where I’m at right now.

Laura: And I know you’re recuperating now, and you have been put in for the Bronze Star, and I know that is such an amazing honor. You’re so humble that you didn’t even want to talk about it, but I had to mention that.

But there are a thousand people who have received the Bronze Star with Valor in the last three years, but I just don’t hear about the stories of their bravery, Sergeant, and I was wondering how you felt about that. I mean, isn’t it important for the American people to know these stories?

Sgt. Sarro: This is very important for the American people to know. These are individuals that have put themselves in such inherent danger to reach this level of an award. You have to put yourself in major danger, place your team ahead of your own life. And these are people whose stories that need to be told, because these type of awards just aren’t given out. Their stories are much more important to me than any car bomb or killing that goes on throughout that country. These people are due their right recognition.

Laura: And I know it’s been a tough year for you of rehab and rehabilitation, but would you do it all over again?

Sgt. Sarro: [small laugh] You KNOW I would – Marines would always do it again.

Then she tells him she’s going to make sure ALL their stories are told and thanks him for his service. I wanted to stand up and salute the screen. This is a TRUE American hero, and his humility is unbelievable.

Message to Code Pinkos: You don’t speak for our Military men and women – they KNOW what they have to do, and they want to do it!!!! So shut up and go away already, and let these men be the heroes we know they are.

English As Our Official National Language? Oh, the Horrors! (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Are You Kidding Me?, Common Sense, Illegal Immigration, VideoLeave a comment

John Trasvina from the Mexican-American Legal Defense Foundation was on O’Reilly on Friday, hosted by Laura Ingraham. Trasvina believes it is racist to declare English as our Official National Language here in the United States. This is another unbelievable insult to Americans in this country. Trasvina calls this declaration as divisive? He thinks we need more adult English classes to make everything fair for everybody.

What?

This is nothing more than insane, and as Laura says, this is pushing us more towards being a “hyphenated America,” and that we should stop all that and just consider ourselves plain-ol’ Americans. What’s wrong with that? Rep. Mark Souder (R) appears and is one of the representatives backing this measure. Trasvina tries to implicate Laura’s parents took night classes to learn English when they moved here, but she quickly tells him “no, they didn’t’.”

So, what do you think? Do you think this is a crazy idea, or do you think English SHOULD be declared our official language?

Fair Tax Rally in Orlando a Huge Success!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to be there, but I’ve been able to listen to the streaming audio of the event on FairTax.org. It’s replaying constantly, so catch it if you can here, just click on “Listen to the Live Webcast here.” I was privileged enough to be able to be inside the first rally in Gwinnett Co. GA, and that was absolutely electrifying!

Here’s a brief recap from Neal’s site today, with a link to pictures from the rally.

GREAT PICTURES OF THE FAIRTAX RALLY!

Jonathan Rube took a whole mess of pictures of the Orlando FairTax Rally Saturday Here’s your link! There are 13 pages of pictures here .. so I just know you’ll find one you like. Use the link at the bottom of the page to scroll through all 13 pages!

WE DID IT!!

OK .. time to put up or shut up I guess.

It’s over folks! The heat was stifling, but the Orlando police said that between 10 and 12,000 people showed up for this morning’s FairTax rally!

I took plenty pictures .. but don’t have a way to download them on this little bitty computer right now. Maybe the folks at WDBO will have some photos up on www.wdbo.com pretty quick

I just want to thank every single person who stood out there in this heat and humidity to call attention to the FairTax plan. I personally met quite a few Florida politicians and candidates this morning, and they were stunned by the size of the crowd. So …. a huge thanks.

Every body counts … and we certainly had enough out there today to send a pretty loud message.

We’re trying to get a revolution going here. Revolutions take participation. The FairTax would be (all together now) the largest transfer of power from politicians to the people since this country was formed. Politicians aren’t going to do this unless their jobs are on the line. Your purpose in showing up at the rally tomorrow in Orlando is to show them that their jobs are, in fact, on the line.

As I’ve said before, folks, this is no longer an idea – it’s a movement. I’d advise you to read up on SR25/HB25, and get on board! Either get on board now, or get out of the way! The Fair Tax is coming!
