Ken Lay’s Obit Should Reflect His Crimes (VIDEO)

Well, that’s according to Neal Gabler from Fox News Watch on Saturday. Why can’t anybody let a man die in peace? Why would anybody want another’s obituary to reflect anything but reverence and respect in light of the person’s death? Oh, no, that’s too good for the liberal idiots out there who have not only been reveling in Ken Lay’s death.

Eric Burns talks about recent headlines:

The New York Post: “Check He’s In It;” The Daily News: “Enron Boss Dodges Jail by Dying;” The Washington Post: “Ken Lay’s Last Evasion.”

Cal talks about the Press’ hate/love relationship with capitalism and rich people, and then Eric asks the question:

Eric: In an obituary should the tone be a little bit more modified about a man who is portrayed as villainous otherwise?

Neal: Well, Jim and I… we had this discussion a long time about about Annenberg, and I say no. I don’t think so. I think that the man ought to be judged.

Isn’t that nice? Neal’s being so compassionate! Yes, I know Ken Lay is guilty of fraud, but this man has died. Can Neal for once not allow someone some dignity? Oh, yeah… that’s right. The man who died was an evil rich white man.

Watch the video here.

By the way…. I’ve never seen Jane Hall laugh… this might explain why.
