In today’s Atlanta Journal Constitution, they had a round-up of sorts of op-eds about the current war between Israel and Hezbollah and Hamas. Surprisingly for a leftist newspaper, most of their featured snippets were pro-Israel. But one that I read just blew me away. The snipped included a brief portion of an article written by Marjorie Cohn from the Progressive Media Project. Her article is also featured on the Counterpunch site, as well. It is as follows:

“The United States should halt Israel’s aggression against the Palestinians by suspending all economic and military aid to Israel until Israel’s military forces withdraw from the occupied Palestinian territories. This would be morally proper, and it would also serve U.s. national security interests.”
