Why Newspaper Circulation Numbers Are Plummeting

The New York Times is not alone on their anti-troop stance. Here’s today’s offering from cartoonist Mike “I love me some Al-Qaeda” Luckovich in the Al-Jazeera Constitution, er, ah.. I mean, Atlanta Journal Constipation.. oh crap….I MEAN “ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION.”

Here’s the link to the comic. Not only does he slam our troops on the cartoon, but the URL ends with ”pot_to_kettle,” even though he named the cartoon “Book on Torture.” There’s also a poll question there as to whether or not you like the cartoon. Vote. And add to the comment section, too.

I just wonder if they really understand why their circulation numbers recently plummeted. I refuse to spend my 50-cents on this rag. Oh, and today’s front-page story? “8 Troops Charged with Killing of an Iraqi” (yesterday’s news). What about our boys who were so savagely tortured? Couldn’t find it on the website, and as I said… I ain’t spending 50-cents to find it inside the print edition.

Michelle Malkin is on it, too.

  1. Ogre Says:

Some people (this cartoonist and the Journal) honestly hate America, no matter what they claim.

  2. coffee Says:

My bird won’t even take a crap on that paper.

  3. alex Says:

Again, the larger point of the cartoon that you don’t seem to understand: because the government of America condones and even debates the “merits” of torture, we have lost the moral highground.
