Ofcr. McKenna - 0, Idiot McKinney - Countless

Well, what a surprise? I was at least hopeful that since this Georgia embarassment’s latest fracas happened in the national spotlight, she might finally be held accountable for her actions (this wasn’t her first run-in with the Capitol Police, you know). Those hopes were just dashed by a breaking AP story in Breitbart, and she will be worse now in Georgia than ever before, feeling more bulletproof. This is also a very damaging outcome in the fight against the appeasing, tip-toeing fear of being called a “racist,” simply because someone shouts “YOU’RE RACIALLY PROFILING!”

The Federal Grand Jury examining the case against Cynthia McKinney decided not to indict her.

A grand jury declined to indict Rep. Cynthia McKinney on Friday in connection with a confrontation in which she admitted hitting a police officer who tried to stop her from entering a House office building.

The grand jury had been considering the case since shortly after the March 29 incident, which has led to much discussion on Capitol Hill about race and the conduct of lawmakers and the officers who protect them.“We respect the decision of the grand jury in this difficult matter,” said U.S. Attorney Kenneth Wainstein.

McKinney did not immediately comment.

Wainstein’s statement, released late Friday, also included support for the officer involved, Paul McKenna, and the Capitol Police. He said, “This is a tremendously difficult job, and it is one that Officer McKenna and his colleagues perform with the utmost professionalism and dignity.”

With that, Wainstein closed a case that has simmered with racial and political tension.

Heck, back in 2002, according to the Jewish Journal, even then they were on notice about her:

For years, a photograph of Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) was pinned to a wall in a basement office of the Capitol Police.

Much like a “wanted” poster, the photograph was a warning to Capitol security officers: Thick braids and all, learn this woman’s face. More important, know that she is, indeed, a member of Congress. McKinney is one of the few members who brazenly refuses to wear her member’s pin, and instead lets it dangle on a chain where security can barely spot it.

What kind of crack was this Grand Jury smoking? She has been getting away with TOO much for TOO long, not only here in Georgia, but on the national stage after 9/11. Remember when she offered to take the Saudi money offered to Giuliani, but Giuliani turned it down? She said her black people could use the money. What a disgrace. An article written by Jonah Golberg in 2002 highlighted some of the details:

McKinney’s hypocrisy is so concentrated it could eat through metal. The only politician I know of who actively tried to profit from Sept. 11, was Cynthia McKinney herself. She’s the one who went whoring after Saudi Arabia’s blood money after the attacks. (In fact, this column was supposed to be just a one-paragraph intro to a reprint of my column about that shameful episode.)

Cynthia and her father BOTH have a long history in Georgia of corrupt activities in elections, and other things too numerous to mention here. There is plenty of evidence though…talk about bad press! Check here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and TONS here, just to illustrate a few. One of the most egregious was outlined by Jeff Johnson of CNS News in an article on April 18, 2002:

…McKinney is under investigation for at least six counts of alleged election law violations stemming from her purported activities in a voting precinct in DeKalb County, Ga., on Election Day 2000.

An administrative law judge will hear charges that McKinney “invaded” a polling place during polling hours, harassed and intimated poll watchers, and directly solicited votes while there.

The Georgia State Board of Elections has voted unanimously twice to recommend action by the state on all six counts.

The Georgia State Board of Elections has voted unanimously twice to recommend action by the state on all six counts.

Kent doubts McKinney will acknowledge any wrongdoing in accepting donations from supporters of terrorist organizations.

“I’m wondering if she’s going to give the money back,” he asked rhetorically. “But I know she won’t.”

The Georgia State Board of Elections has voted unanimously twice to recommend action by the state on all six counts.Yet, she and her father started an investigation into violations of the “Voters’ Rights Act.”

That’s the typical frustration we Georgians feel because we know this woman AND her corrupt father, Billy McKinney, have always and will always get away with everything. Today’s announcement just proves us right.  She and other corrupt politicians can and do have it both ways.

Folks, this is depressing. I just hope her Republican opponent (a black Conservative, Catherine Davis) can beat her this year. However, the voters of her district have obviously proven how dumb they are. In recent interviews during the Grand Jury investigation, a lot of her constitutents said they were still with her “150%.”

*sigh*… with the shenanigans of both McKinney and Carter, Zell Miller and Newt Gingrich are truly our saving grace - and the only ones who are the true pride of this state; McKinney and Carter are the shame.

Oh, yes, she has had some accomplishments. Like writing the  “The Tupac Amaru Shakur Records Release Act of 2006.” Oh, and she has a HUGE following at ThugLifeArmy.com (such a shining endorsement, eh?), lately hosting a “Hip Hop Power Shop” at the ”Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain.” Yes, such a thing exists.

The Capitol Police got the shaft in this, and it’s an insult to cops everywhere. Should you or I do the same thing Cell-Phone Cynthia did, we’d be sitting in the gray-bar motel wearing shiny silver bracelets.

Why shouldn’t she get away with it? She is after all, in her own words, “a female black congresswoman!” In other words, she’s off limits.

Just goes to show you; squeal like a stuck pick loud and long enough, and eventually they’ll back off for fear of being portrayed as anti-porcine.

Hot Air’s got a story going, too. Also up at BigDog, Blue Star Chronicles, Stop the ACLU, THM’s Bacon Bits, Pirate’s Cove, Right Wing Nation, Stuck on Stupid, Expose the Left, and Right on the Right. Also at Jo’s Cafe.
