“Boston Legal” Update – Video Clip #1 – America On Trial

Okay, I’m going to post all the video segments I can. Here is the first installment from ABC’s “Boston Legal” from last night, which I hinted about already. There have beeen anti-Bush, anti-American undertones in the past, but, as has been said, last night was “beyond the pale.” This video is between character Alan Shore (attorney), and his client Ms. Hughes (who is also his secretary on the show), who is on trial in Federal Court for…. well, I’ll reveal that at the end of this series.

The lascivious and uber-liberal attorney (what else is there?) Alan Shore asks her if sheâ€™s opposes the war, based on her testimony thus far.

Dumb Blonde (Hughes): Actually, I donâ€™t. If the government had said we need to do anything to get rid of Saddam, I would have said â€œLetâ€™s Roll!â€ And if we would have apologized after making such a humongous gaffe with the whole weapons “thingy“â€¦ Iâ€™m sure I could have accepted that, too, but instead we were so arrogant! It was â€¦embarrassing.

She then goes on to talk about torture, human rights, spying, blah, blah and blah. The only torture she’s ever known was chipping a nail on the set and having no manicurist to attend to her!

D.B. Hughes: â€œTalk about burning down the barn to kill the bats!â€

Huh? There are certain comments I take personal offense to from this whole 1-hour show, that were OBVIOUSLY written into the script for maximum effect on last night’s episode. Which one is it in this clip? This stupid bimbo’s overt reference to “Let’s Roll!” That was NO accident! I take EXTREME umbrage at this utterance, from the mouth of a babe who knows not from whence she speaks! It was intentional, and a direct insult to Todd Beamer, his widow, and every other survivor, victim, or widow of the atrocities on 9/11.

Folks, I could sit and transcribe all the clips, but I am not close enough to the Maalox to get through it. I’ll let you watch and listen for yourselves.
