Now, before we watch clip #2, here’s a small portion of the transcript:
Alan tells D.B. (Dumb Blonde, Hughes) that he believes she broke the law, and as she walks away, “Denny Crain†(William Shatner) comes in to the room.
Denny: Do you have any idea what would happen if all the little people stopped paying taxes?
Alan: The rich people would have to start paying theirs.
Denny: EXACTLY! This is personal! You’re jeopardizing my loopholes!
Okay, everyone.. here’s clip #2
Stay tuned tomorrow for video clips #3 & #4.
Okay, I’m going to post all the video segments I can. Here is the first installment from ABC’s “Boston Legal” from last night, which I hinted about already. There have beeen anti-Bush, anti-American undertones in the past, but, as has been said, last night was “beyond the pale.” This video is between character Alan Shore (attorney), and his client Ms. Hughes (who is also his secretary on the show), who is on trial in Federal Court for…. well, I’ll reveal that at the end of this series.
Portion of transcript:
The lascivious and uber-liberal attorney (what else is there?) Alan Shore asks her if she’s opposes the war, based on her testimony thus far.
Dumb Blonde (Hughes): Actually, I don’t. If the government had said we need to do anything to get rid of Saddam, I would have said “Let’s Roll!†And if we would have apologized after making such a humongous gaffe with the whole weapons “thingy“… I’m sure I could have accepted that, too, but instead we were so arrogant! It was …embarrassing.
