The Peanut Gallery In Action (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Bush-Bashing, Liberal Bed-Wetters, Media Bias, VideoLeave a comment

Folks, these are a couple of excerpts over the past week of the insanity that comprises what is the White House Press Corps. Is there a Constitutional provision that grants them the rights to act like idiots in those privileged chairs? No… but that doesn’t stop them anyway.

ThomasSowell.jpg
As Thomas Sowell said in his TownHall.com column on Thursday:

The same journalists who used phony documents to attack President Bush’s military service recognize no “right to know” why Senator John Kerry’s honorable discharge is dated long after his service was over and during the Carter administration, when less than honorable discharges were allowed to be upgraded to honorable.

The “public’s right to know” apparently extends only to such things as will not cause the public to reach conclusions different from those of the liberal media.

My favorite press secretary was Margaret Tutwiler, who treated reporters like misbehaving little boys, which is how they often acted. Nor were the reporters’ antics due solely to personal boorishness.

They had before them the example of Dan Rather and Sam Donaldson, who reached the big time on TV by being snotty to Presidents. At the very least, White House correspondents can get more time on the tube by waxing indignant at what they choose to portray as violations of “the public’s right to know” while the cameras are rolling.

CheneyCriminalOffenseQuestion.jpg

Honest…. during the first round of questioning, these were ACTUAL questions to Scott McClellan about the Veep’s hunting accident! (not all reporter names known… just Gregory’s)

“Are you satisfied with the way this was handled?”

“Were you aware that they were just going to allow a private citizen to inform a local paper of this?”

“Did the Vice President follow all appropriate safety procedures that are familiar to hunters?” (the illustrious David Gregory)

“Was that his gun, that shotgun?”

“Is it proper for the Vice President to offer his resignation, or has he offered his resignation?”

“Who was doing the providing, and who were they providing it to?”

“Was the Vice President immediately clear that he had accidentally shot his friend, or not?” (again, Mr. Gregory)

“How is it that the word of the shooting, and that the Vice President was involved… could have been confused or delayed?”

“Under TX law, is this kind of accidental shooting a possible criminal offense?”

Scott McClellan deserves a Purple Heart and hazardous duty pay for what (and who) he has to endure! Here are just a couple of examples… And David… Yes, this WAS (and always IS) about you! It’s ALWAYS about you!

AsshatGregory1.jpg

Aaaahhhhhh…. the youngest, brightest stars of the new MSM talking heads. Guess that just means more folks will be switching over to the Fox News Channel.

Hey…. last person to leave the Washington press corps. pre-school… please have the teacher turn out the lights. It will save at least the last dim bulb from burning out before the room is evacuated.

DavidURStuckOnStupid.jpg

I have been thinking for a long time that Scott McClellan should just point at David Gregory, and say “David… you’re stuck on stupid,” but my wish never comes true (although the reality remains).

I Am Ashamed of the MSM of My Country

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: America-Bashing, Just Plain Wrong, Liberal Bed-Wetters, Media Bias, Video5 Comments

I am listless tonight because I haven’t heard ONE person ask the question, or POSE the question, I’ve been thinking about all day today and yesterday. With Iran enriching uranium, Islamofascists torching the Middle East and the European countryside over a cartoon, and all our pathetic press morons can think of is to talk about why V.P. Dick Cheney didn’t tell the precious DC Press corp BEFORE he told a local newspaper in Houston? Are your widdle feewings hurt?

David Gregory needs to be drawn and quartered! These guys are absolutely pathetic! He almost makes Helen Thomas look human! (Hey, David… YOU are the jerk – not Scott!)

After seeing Cheney on Brit Hume tonight (the only person he KNEW would treat him with respect today), I felt sad for the man. After all, the emotion I felt and saw coming from that man (which is VERY rare), answered the aforementioned question of which I spoke: Who in this country, even someone as seemingly as amotional as Cheney, could actually go through the horrors of accidentally shooting a good friend, and be ready to go to a mic and make a public statement the same day? Who? any of you? ANY OF YOU?

CheneyExclusiveBritHume021506.jpg

I know I couldn’t; not only because I have FIRST-HAND KNOWLEDGE of what it’s like to have a loved one physically hurt, I also have the misfortune of being the victim of an assault myself. The last thing on my MIND was telling all my friends about what happened to me. Caring for your loved ones and for yourself comes first! And don’t give me this crap about “well, he’s the VIIICE PRESSSIDENT, and he SHOULD have shaken it off and faced the press immediately!”

Damnit folks, he is human just like you and I; and if you don’t think so, you are horribly misguided and beyond all help. And PLEASE spare me the conspiracy “hiding an affair,” “he was drunk,” “cover up to hide the Scooter Libby story” BULLSHI*! I don’t buy it for one minute!

Why is it you looneys on the Left continue to claim these are the dumbest men on earth, yet they seem to be able to direct hurricanes and floods, raise gas prices, shift tectonic plates, blah blah, and more blah. You bore me, so go away already. I’m tired of you idiot, myrmidon sycophants on the left. You SHOULD be ashamed, but should and would are two different things.

Expose the Left has the video of Cheney on Brit Hume today

(What’s the matter, MSM? You guys just jealous because the exclusive went to Fox? Get a clue.. FIGURE IT OUT! The proof is in the ratings, you idiots!)

A “Thank You” From An Iraqi Mayor

I was alerted to this article today from a veteran blogger friend of mine, but wasn’t shocked that I didn’t see it our hear about it on any of the BBNs (Bush-Bashing networks; i.e., ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, etc.). Remember the media template: “If it’s good for Bush, it doesn’t get published – if it’s bad for Bush, it’s front page news!”

This article outlines just exactly how thankful the Iraqis are for what our servicemen and servicewomen have done and sacrificed for their freedom. Laura Ingraham just came back from Iraq, and she’s pretty steamed, too, about the blatant anti-miltiary slant and bias that is the BBN (a.k.a. MSM). Believe it or not, there ARE good things happening in Iraq.

In the American Thinker today, the Mayor of Tall ‘Afar, Ninewa, Iraq got to express his thanks in words that cannot be described. So please, feel free to share this with your lib friends – see if they even care.

IRAQI MAYOR THANKS AMERICAN TROOPS

The following comes from Col. Ren Hart. We know this is happening – we just don’t hear it enough.

John B. Dwyer

As I’m sure you know, the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment has been serving in Iraq (its second deployment there) for the past year.

As the regiment prepares to come home, it has received the letter pasted below. I believe many of you will find it an interestingcounterpoise to much of what we read in the press.

From: Mayor of Tall ‘Afar, Ninewa, Iraq

In the Name of God the Compassionate and Merciful

To the Courageous Men and Women of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who have changed the city of Tall’ Afar from a ghost town, in which terrorists spread death and destruction, to a secure city flourishing with life.

To the lion-hearts who liberated our city from the grasp of terrorists who were beheading men, women and children in the streets for many months.

To those who spread smiles on the faces of our children, and gave us restored hope, through their personal sacrifice and brave fighting, and gave new life to the city after hopelessness darkened our days, and stole our confidence in our ability to reestablish our city.

Our city was the main base of operations for Abu Mousab Al Zarqawi. The city was completely held hostage in the hands of his henchmen. Our schools, governmental services, businesses and offices were closed. Our streets were silent, and no one dared to walk them. Our people were barricaded in their homes out of fear; death awaited them around every corner. Terrorists occupied and controlled the only hospital in the city. Their savagery reached such a level that they stuffed the corpsesof children with explosives and tossed them into the streets in order to kill grieving parents attempting to retrieve the bodies of their young. This was the situation of our city until God prepared and delivered unto them the courageous soldiers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who liberated this city, ridding it of Zarqawi’s followers after harsh fighting, killing many terrorists, and forcing the remaining butchers to flee the city like rats to the surrounding areas, where the bravery of other 3d ACR soldiers in Sinjar, Rabiah, Zuma and Avgani finally destroyed them.

I have met many soldiers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment; they are not only courageous men and women, but avenging angels sent by The God Himself to fight the evil of terrorism.

The leaders of this Regiment; COL McMaster, COL Armstrong, LTC Hickey, LTC Gibson, and LTC Reilly embody courage, strength, vision and wisdom.

Officers and soldiers alike bristle with the confidence and character of knights in a bygone era. The mission they have accomplished, by means of a unique military operation, stands among the finest military feats to date in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and truly deserves to be studied in military science. This military operation was clean, with little collateral damage, despite the ferocity of the enemy. With the skill and precision of surgeons they dealt with the terrorist cancers in the city without causing unnecessary damage.

God bless this brave Regiment; God bless the families who dedicated these brave men and women. From the bottom of our hearts we thank the families. They have given us something we will never forget. To the families of those who have given their holy blood for our land, we all bow to you in reverence and to the souls of your loved ones. Their sacrifice was not in vain. They are not dead, but alive, and their souls hovering around us every second of every minute. They will never be forgotten for giving their precious lives. They have sacrificed that which is most valuable. We see them in the smile of every child, and inevery flower growing in this land. Let America, their families, and the world be proud of their sacrifice for humanity and life.

Finally, no matter how much I write or speak about this brave Regiment, I haven’t the words to describe the courage of its officers and soldiers. I pray to God to grant happiness and health to these legendary heroes and their brave families.

NAJIM ABDULLAH ABID

AL-JIBOURI

Mayor of Tall ‘Afar,

Ninewa, Iraq

Laura was on O’Reilly tonight, and as usual, “Expose the Left” has that video (see below). To synopsize what she said that was important, was a thought from one of the military members who is one of the highest ranking officers training the Iraqis. He talked about the sweat, blood and passion that is being spent to train these troops, and he is FURIOUS about the idiot politicians here in the U.S. who continue to degrade our military men & women every time they open their mouths. He said all they need is time and some patience by the folks back home (us here), and that it WILL get done!

God speed to all of our troops and the Iraqi people, and we need to continue to support them AND the Iraqis who are working hard to experience something they’ve never had before. It’s no wonder the assimilation is taking time. But just imagine what it would be like if you were in their situation. Or can you?

Chris Matthews’ New Obsession (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Bush-Bashing, Humor, Liberal Bed-Wetters, VideoLeave a comment

Just when you thought nothing could ever come between Chris Matthews and his love affair with Scooter Libby…

Apparently his new thing is the issue non-issue of Vice Pres. Cheney accidentally hitting a fellow hunter, Harry Whittington of Austin, Texas, with some buckshot. Even the Smoking Gun has the official report of the accident.

Not only did Chris devote one segment to this story today, taking a hit by Former Senator Alan Simpson (Expose the Left has the video of that), he went even further. He took TWO more segments to dissect and plunder the story of the hunting mishap.

He had Pat Buchanan and Ron Reagan, Jr. on to discuss this matter, and this went on and on and ON! Pat did stick up for the VP a couple of times, saying he agreed that Cheney was probably correctly thinking that he should not put the story out until all the facts were known, but went on to berate him for not having any press aides with him.

CheneyShootingMSNBC.jpg

It was all about who told who – who called the President? Who told Andy Card? Who did Andy tell? How did Rove now? Who did Rove tell? I have one question only – WHO GIVES a damn!

Chris said he was shocked that Cheney didn’t IMMEDIATELY contact the President to tell him what happened, so the President could ask him “What the hell happened down there, Dick?” I am not kidding – Chris said that. Then this segued into Ron speculating that maybe their relationship wasn’t as good as everybody thinks it is! How laughable is that? Who do you know that goes hunting, and carries a cell phone with them? One of the key “tricks” to successful hunting is to be quiet, so as not to reveal yourself to the quail. What a novel idea! Also, how many hunting ranches are even within cell tower reach? Who knows? Who cares?

Then when you thought it couldn’t get any worse… Ron Jr. lamented about why Cheney wasn’t allowed to be interviewed by the police, so they could ask the typical investigation questions like “Have you been drinking? Did he have anything against Mr. Whittington?” Ron made the drinking-question comment TWICE, and even Chris called him on it the second time. What a joke!

The earlier press conference apparently even bored Fox’s Carl Cameron…
CarlCameronSleeping.jpg

It’s tough to watch Slimeball at all, even though you have to to know what the idiot left is out there saying. Now begins the love affair between Chris & Cheney… Scooter and Plame can finally rest.

Was the CSK Memorial a Correct Political Venue? (VIDEO)

I don’t know about you all, but as I’ve previously posted, I’m truly ashamed about what took place last Tuesday in Atlanta, GA at the Memorial Service for Coretta Scott King.

Lowery.jpg

Yes, I’m a conservative Republican, and yes I do feel that the foes of President Bush took advantage of the situation to advance their causes, but would Coretta Scott King have appreciated it? I don’t think so, and neither did Ron Christie, a conservative black Republican who is the author of “Black in the White House.”

Christie was interviewed after Rev. Jospeph Lowery (see previous post), and it was obvious that Lowery was more succinct when it comes to talking points of the left, and Christie clearly outlined the triumphs of the Bush Administration in terms of the progress in the minority communities in the United States.

RonChristieBkInWhtHouse.jpg

What’s very sad, as Ron speaks about, is the day that they were supposed to honor and revere the life of Coretta Scott King, the topic of the pundit shows today reflect only the political rhetoric that was spewed at the memorial… not the life of Coretta herself. What a shame.
