Playing the Post-Katrina Race Card (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Crime, Hypocrisy At Its Finest, Liberal Bed-Wetters, Race Warlords, Video1 Comment

I always make a point to watch Fox News Watch on Saturdays, because the resident liberal bed-wetter, Neal Gabler, is a sure bet to never let me down in his “shift-the-blame” tactics for the current issue du jour, which always makes for good entertainment. From Neal’s rantings, it appears he feels intellectually and morally superior to Cal Thomas, Jim Pinkerton, Eric Burns, and Jane Skinner. But on today’s hot topic of the recent race-baiting comments by the Hildabeast and Ray “Chocolate City” Nagin, Neal even outdid himself.

LooneyNealGabler.jpg

Eric: You can’t say that what Mayor Nagin said was a Republican spin point.

Neal: Oh, I think… to attack him…to attack him? That’s what I’m saying that was a Republican spin point. To take whatever a Democratic politician says, and to put it in the context of saying “he’s crazy…”

(cross-talk)

Jim: Look… Hillary Clinton and Ray Nagin both tried to play the race card. Hillary Clinton kinda got away with it; Nagin didn’t. He had 1/10th the heat that Pat Robertson got for equivalent statements that Robertson (for which) was subjected to the Daily Show and comedies forever. Nagin didn’t apologize. Nagin overtly tried to play the race card in the most racially-charged situation in America now, which is New Orleans, post-Katrina, and I’m glad to see the media were grabbing their hind legs for once and bending back, because this has been going on in the Black Power movement the last 35 years, and they’ve gotten away with it. Maybe things are changed now.

(more cross-talk)

Neal: Look there is a story here, and the story is what Hillary Clinton said. The story is that there has been a tectonic change in the way that our political environment operates. Democrats are not invited to conference now in Congress. Democrats are not consulted or even permitted to make additions to bills in Congress now. The only place that I’ve seen this covered, because it’s a tectonic change, is in Rolling Stone. And Rolling Stone is becoming, oddly enough, one of the best political magazines on the earth.

They got into a bit of a verbal fisticuffs when they tried to pin Neal down on his stance of Shrillary’s latest “plantation” remarks, as well as Nagin’s expressed desires for New Orleans to be a “Chocolate City” again, like it was before Katrina. If Neal tried really hard, I bet he could get a writer’s spot on Law & Order.

Oh, and what about ” Democrats are not invited to conference now in Congress. Democrats are not consulted or even permitted to make additions to bills in Congress now”? What? Where in the hell is his proof of this? If he wants more permission and participation by his party, then he should do whatever it takes to make sure a Democrap gets elected. I hate to break it to you Neal, but elections have consequences, so it doesn’t matter what kind of tantrum you throw, or how long you hold your breath, the Republicans ARE the party in power. Now GET OVER IT, already!

And Rolling Stone? Rolling Stone is becoming the best political magazine out there? Somebody PLEASE help Neal out. He’s obviously been hanging out with Marion Barry too much. Barry is a bad influence on ANYBODY! Especially if you’re already apparently unstable.

What a pathetic loser he is! I know Fox likes to be fair and balanced, but sometimes it goes over the edge. However, from a different perspective, it is OUTSTANDINGLY brilliant (and helpful to the Republican party) to have the likes of Neal Gabler, Babs Streisand, Franken, Sharpton, Jesse “I ain’t yo baby daddy” Jackson, Cindy Sheehan, and Louie “the mother-wheel awaits” Farrakhan, constantly out in the forefront of the media’s attention.

Some conspiracy theorists from the left might say that Karl Rove is behind this; he is, after all, “Bush’s brain.” Well, that’s really not much of a stretch, since everything that goes wrong on this planet is somehow or another George Bush’s fault. Gee, must be nice to have that much power, especially when you think about all the times when the myrmidons on the left talk about how dumb GW is. Kinda makes you wonder about their reasoning….If he were as dumb as they say he is, do they really believe he could have caused the hurricane to hit only poor black people in New Orleans? I could go on and on about everything the libs blame Bush for, but there’s not enough space on the internet for that. It’s that good ol’ media double standard – if it’s good for Bush, it goes on page F25; if it’s bad for Bush, it’s FRONT PAGE NEWS, baby!

Tribute to the West Virginia Miners (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Tragedy, Video6 Comments

Folks, they say a picture is worth a thousand words. I’ve got a few to share with you (pictures, not words). As I sit here typing through blurred eyes and with tear-stained cheeks, I watched this video someone shared with me today. In light of the recent tragedies in West Virginia coal mines, I am sharing this tribute done by the Laurel Mountain Baptist Church, which you can view here.

Sen. Rockefeller “Status Quo is Unacceptable” (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Tragedy, Video1 Comment

In West Virginia today, after Gov. Manchin spoke, Sen. Rockefeller and Congressman Rahall both gave very moving statements to the press. Both promised tougher standards and safety measures for coal miners everywhere, and from the emotion in their voices, I could feel the fire in their bellies over this tragedy.

WVSenRockefeller.jpg

Sen. Rockefeller: When people get mad, they’re more likely to do something, and when I go back to Congress on Tuesday to meet with the Governor, what’s happened at Sago and what’s happened here… there’s gonna be a lot of mad people. These are human beings and when you see them go through what they go through, you’re never the same. You have helped America understand that. And I think you’re going to see change. We have to. Coal mining has to be done, it needs to be done, it’s in America’s interest that it be done, and it has to be done safely and responsibly, and it shall be.

Congressman Rahall is also a man of conviction. His emotions are obvious as are Rockefeller’s, and he speaks the painful truth.

Congressman Rahall: It is unfortunate that every coal mine health and safety law on the books today is written with the blood of coal miners. It takes a tragedy, unfortunately, to toughen these laws and pass them in the first place. But if that’s what we have to do, then so be it.

God bless both of these men, this community, and help them achieve their goals for coal miners everywhere.

Bodies of WV Miners Found (VIDEO)

by MsUnderestimated — Categories: Tragedy, VideoLeave a comment

Breaking this hour, the two bodies of the miners, Don Bragg & Ellory “Elvis” Hatfield, in WV were found by rescue workers. Both Gov. Manchin and Sen. Rockefeller spoke at great length, making heart-felt promises to not only the state of West Virginia, but also miners and industrial workers everywhere. This is just tragic!

WVGovManchin.jpg

Gov. Manchin: Monday I will introduce in the state of West Virginia three pieces of legislation. I will introduce one that‘s going to be (for) a rapid response. There is no way that we should not…and I repeat, we should not be able to be responding as quickly as possible. God forbid, something happens to me health-wise, I can get an ambulance fairly quickly. But if something happens in a mining or industrial accident, it doesn’t seem to work in the same urgency and that’s going to stop… it’s going to stop in WV. We are going to have rapid response.

This is quite tragic for not only the Bragg & Hatfield families, but also those of the Sago Mine tragedy. Let’s pray for them all.

Southern Exposure (VIDEO)

Tonight on Hannity & Colmes, Chris Simcox of the Minuteman Project went mano a mano (EVERY pun intended) with Mexican Senator, Jeffrey Max Jones, about the hideous situation with our porous border in the southern United States.

According to stats, there have been 216 incursions by the Mexican military since 1996, that have been documented, into the United States. Jones calls these “innocent.” What???

Colmes: Are there any people from the Mexican Military who come into the U.S. who are on the border or over the border; does it happen, and why?

Jones: Yeah it does happen. The border from From El Paso, on down to the Gulf, is very clearly delineated with a river. But between El Paso, TX and California, the border is not as clearly delineated and there have been issues in the past where, innocently, people have crossed the line in those areas.

Excuse me… .”innocently?” Do any of you honestly believe that the Mexican Military, who has long aided and abetted the coyotes, the Mexican drug cartels, and the drug smugglers, truly believe that any incursion into the United States was an “innocent mistake” on any occasion? Please… GIMME a BREAK!

Next up at bat, Sean Hannity:

MexicanInvasion.jpg

Hannity: We estimate that (there are) some 11+ million in the U.S. alone from Mexico who did not respect our laws and sovereignty. What should we do about people who don’t respect our laws and sovereignty?

Jones: Well, I think the problem that we have up until now in dealing with this issue is we’re trying to attack the migration process or the act of migration itself, and as long as we continue doing that, we’re not going to have…

Hannity: .. well, it’s not really migration.. .isn’t that law-breaking though?

Jones: Well, yes it is breaking the law..

Even the bed-wetting liberal had to admit this is a violation of law! When will the strong Republicans who DO believe in border security step up to the plate, and DEMAND more action and control? I’m sorry, folks, but after the latest release of the AlQaeda tapes, the NYT leaks of classified information about the NSA, etc., I’m VERY worried about the southern border. I personally do NOT consider the Minutemen “vigilantes.” The term “vigilant” is exactly what the U.S. Government has asked us to be since the slaughter of 3,000+ Americans on 9/11. So why should we (or the MMP) be punished for doing so?

Oh, yeah… I remember now. The criminals get all the rights – which are not endowed by our Creator; they are endowed by the omnipotent American Criminal Liberties Union. I’m still waiting for Bolton to “lop off the top 10 floors.”

Get the US out of the UN, and the UN out of the US! And the sooner the better!
