The Law Enforcement Dogs are every bit a part of the brotherhood and respected by us all. When I was a Parmedic we wanted to get sometraing from Local Vets in treating injuries to the K9s as they are considered officers and deserve what ever we can do. I never hesitated to jump in and help any officer in need. I would give my life for a Law Enforcement Officer the same as I would for my brother Firefighters amd on many occasions either I or an officer had to back each other up and the Dogs did this without any hesitation. Recently here in the US a K9 put himself in fron of his human partner and an armed suspect the Officer was injured in Gun Fire and the dog was killed saving the life of his human partner. How many of you have friends that without hesitation would give up their lives so that you could live. I have a few and they all wear a uniform and a badge and I would do the same for them. Only memebrs of our military understand this kind of bond. God Bless my brothers and sisters in Blue you are America's finest.
